The past year has been quite the whirlwind of activity, and I’ve done and experienced a lot of new things. In July 2009 my wife and I decided to renovate our kitchen. We demoed down to the studs, and have been slowly getting things back together. I have been cooperative (mostly). I also joined the Multnomah County Sheriff Office Search and Rescue Team. The experience has been incredible. I’ve learned lots of useful skills, met some amazing people, and had the opportunity to make a real contribution to my community. This is all very different from the past years of cycling and running, but I really wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Good job on the marathon. I still have never ran an official marathon–just a 100-miler, 50-miler and got a “DNF” on a 40-mile trail run attempt–but I am sure I could not finish in under 4 hours in my current condition. Keep in touch,
Rocky

Hi
I came across your blog referring to nasal specific. I truly hope that it has helped with the headaches, and that you are truly enjoying life to the fullest.
I have set up a page to post testimonies of people’s experiences with nasal specific. and want to create a blog section as well.
I was wondering if you would be willing to write a small statement of how nasal specific has helped you so I may post it on the web site.
Thank you,
Dave

Tony, I saw your endorsement of Al Lyman’s Runner-Core program (don’t know the date) and am wondering if you continue to endorse it. I also have a question about the difference in the runner vs the triathelete versions, but when I attempted to e-mail Al, the e-mail bounced back. Do you have a contact phone number? Thank you.

Hi John. I definitely still believe in Runner-Core and Coach Al’s approach to training. The approach to strength and flexibility training, not to mention neuro-muscular conditioning, really made a difference for me. Not that other things out there wouldn’t be as effective, but Runner-Core works.
